1. Overview

This website, yarntasy.com, is operated by Yarntasy ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Our products

We sell digital crochet patterns in PDF format. A pattern contains written instructions and photos for making an item yourself – it is not a finished, handmade product. Product photos show sample items made from the pattern; your finished result may vary depending on your yarn, hook, tension and skill.

3. License and permitted use

When you buy a pattern, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. You may:

Download, print and use the pattern for your own crocheting.
Make items from the pattern for yourself or as gifts.
Sell the finished items you make yourself, by hand and in small quantities (for example at craft fairs, markets or in your Etsy shop). We kindly ask you to credit the design in your listing or tag, e.g. "Pattern by Yarntasy (yarntasy.com)".

You may not:

Share, forward, upload, resell, give away or distribute the PDF, its text or its photos, in whole or in part, in print or digitally.
Translate, rewrite or publish the pattern as your own, or use our photos to sell your finished items – please use photos of the items you made.
Use the pattern for mass production, factory manufacturing or outsourced production.

4. Free patterns

Free patterns offered on our site (for example in exchange for joining our email list) are covered by the same license – you may make and sell finished items from them, but the PDF itself may not be shared or redistributed.

5. Prices, promotions and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time. Promotions and discount codes are valid only under their stated conditions and cannot always be combined; where several automatic discounts apply, the best eligible discount is applied at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in case of a pricing error or suspected fraud; in that case you will be refunded in full.

6. Accuracy of information

We work hard to make our patterns and product descriptions clear and correct. If you notice an error, please let us know and we will fix it. We do not guarantee that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Intellectual property

All patterns, text, photos, logos and designs on this site are the property of Yarntasy and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Photos you share with us

If you tag us (for example with #yarntasy) or send us photos of items you made, you allow us to share those photos on our website and social media with credit to you. You can ask us to remove them at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yarntasy is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or patterns. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Please supervise children and pets when using or wearing crocheted items, and keep small parts (such as safety eyes) away from young children.
